3.02 the Text of member

Syntax:
set string = the Text of member whichcastmember

Purpose:
This property is used to get the text which is displayed in the #html cast member.

Use this function, if you need to retrieve the plain text of the #html cast member, for example to print the contents. This is a standard Lingo string, that - of course - has no information about font sizes, text styles etc.

This property can be tested, but not set.

Notes:

• The returned string has no informations about formatting tags,
• paragraphs are separated by "return".
• Director can handle big strings in memory, but if you set the contents of a field to the text of a html cast member, be sure not to run into the 32k limit for fields.
